Sacavin members come together throughout the year for a varied programme of events centred around wine, food and friendship. From relaxed lunches and wine tastings to more formal occasions, each event offers an opportunity to discover new wines, share knowledge and enjoy good company.
Our Annual Chapitre
A highlight of the Sacavin calendar is the annual Chapitre at Vintners’ Hall in London. This special occasion brings members together to celebrate the traditions of the Confrérie and welcome new members into the Commanderie.
In June 2024, members of Sacavin UK joined fellow members and representatives of other French wine guilds at Château de Montreuil-Bellay to celebrate the 120th anniversary of the Confrérie des Chevaliers du Sacavin. The château has a special place in Sacavin’s history, having hosted the revival of the Order in 1904.
Tastings, Lunches & Special Events
Throughout the year we also organise wine tastings, lunches and other gatherings in London and further afield. The programme varies from year to year, offering members new wines to discover, interesting places to visit and plenty of opportunities to meet together.
